"I didn’t know if Jesus loved me of late,
any longer. I had been a Sister for over 20 years in a
teaching order and was in deep depression. You see, my
father died and never forgave me (and never talked to me
while he was alive) about becoming a religious. When you
began the watersedge prayer, I found myself in the
backyard of my father’s home where I saw Jesus
peeking from behind our big tree. He’d look at me
and then hide again. He repeated this several times. You
told me to tell Jesus how much I loved him. I
couldn’t. I didn’t know if he loved me even
after all these years as a religious. I thought I had a
good prayer life…I took the step of faith like you
said and told Jesus, "I love you very much Jesus. I
love you. I love you." Then, the scene changed and I
saw Jesus standing at our kitchen table behind my father.
Dad said to me, "I’m sorry, dear. Please
forgive me for not trusting in you and loving you.
I’m so proud of you." I was moved to deep
feelings of joy and a flood of tears. I couldn’t
