CATHOLICS: For us Catholics it is more
than a simple picture. A Treasure for every Family and a magnificent Memento,
the recent Popes of our lives; Pius XII, John XXIII, Paul VI, John Paul
I and the present Pope, John Paul II. When JP II goes to the Eternal Judge,
this can happen soon, what you think, this lithograph, with his picture
in the center, it will be a RELIC!
"Pope John Paul II is nearing the last days and months of his life."
(Austrian Cardinal Schoenborn , October 2003) THIS LITHO will be an expensive
RELIC when JP II goes to the eternal Judge.
A Jewish businessman told me: Brother Andrew, you stop selling this litho,
when the pope dies, you can sell this for five times more. As businessman,
he is right. It must be a RELIC for Catholics when JP II dies, it's true.
But we're Catholics and we're Franciscans, I have a Superior. I asked
him and he told: "We not speculating on the death of the pontiff,
we wish long life for him. We're not a sales organization. Just give the
people a fair price, we need the income now, let them make donations now."
These Franciscans are unselfish, they use the revenues "to do good",
as St. Francis wanted in his Rule, to spread the Gospel, to keep up their
operation, their Audio Video Studio,
OTHERS: Surprise! Many non-Catholics invested in this lithograph. The
businessman, a Jew; a Lutheran "we have common popes until the Reformation" and
many other Lutherans too; many orthodox Christians they told me that we had Greek popes,
common popes until they broke with Rome,1OOO years ago... But, this litho is a great
success with Muslims I have customer who purchased it for her Muslim husband, another for
his father, an official researcher. Then, they buy it for Catholic friends, priests,
seminarians, as gift. Have on my list Baptists, Methodists, etc.
GIFT: For son, daughter, students, seminarians, nuns, priests,
schools, every friend, family members, donation for institutions. Sold for funeral homes,
many told me that the visitors - while waiting - browse through the popes' pictures,
enjoyed spending time with the History of the Holy Catholic Church. Does not bother them
being in another religion, no, in a nursing home the problem was that the letters were too
small. The administrator purchased a magnifier for the residents and now they're happy
with this litho.
VALUE: Very RARE. It's value goes up every year, like rare stamps,
antiques, made just 1979 not antique but already Collectors' Item. It is NOT PAPER, it is
PARCHMENT (80%) only 20% paper in it, the experts say that this mixture is best long life,
like the scrolls of holy Scriptures. Even an atheist purchased three pieces of the framed
litho, I think for INVESTMENT.
