Did You Know?

The first pope, on the litho first in the left- upper corner, St. Peter died martyr-death on a cross for our Lord Jesus Christ?

He asked the Romans to hang him upside down on the cross, he told he not worthy to die like his Master, Jesus died. What love!

After him, during the first 300 years ( first 3 centuries) 31, Thirty-one popes suffered martyrdom.

All died for the Master, our dear Lord Jesus Christ during the Roman Emperors' persecution of our Catholic Christian Faith.

Did You Know This? The 31st was pope Marcellinus I, who died in AD 309, humiliated by the Emperor, like a slave worked in dirtiest stables, basements in the Emperor's estate.

Or those popes who died in the lead mines, where first stamped, burned numbers into their skin, cut their muscles behind their knees to make them not able to escape; put them in chains neck-to- ankles, and all they died there worked all day on the surface of the mine, no shade, the sun, the heat killed them, for Christ, they were happy to be chosen for Christ!

Did You Know? that St. Pius V who was the great defender of our Faith, who regulated, codified the Holy Sacrifice, the Mass, and did so much during his pontificate (6 years) that nobody else, after him for well over 400 years we didn't have a saint, canonized pope? But, after this long period, many years, God sent us a holy pope again: Pope St. Pius X, the pontiff of this century, elected in 1903 who wrote his name into the History as the greatest Defender of our Faith, the Holy Mass and the Most Blessed Sacrament, the Morals, the priesthood; all basics. As you see, we have holy, good, saint popes.

We have not so good popes also, worldly, power-and pomp-loving ones too, they were humans, sinners also. But, as this beautiful, American-made lithograph presenting you the Truth: they are all on this picture together with holy, canonized saints and martyrs, so we can study the History of "The Popes" which is the History of the Roman Catholic Church; then as the "History is the Master Teacher of the Life" we CAN AVOID TO REPEAT MISTAKES OF THE PAST. As you read this far, I know for sure, that you love the History and you're great soul, an intelligent soul, who love Art too. You need this litho, go ahead, you deserve that you get this gift for yourself for your birthday or no occasion at all, just own it. Nobody, not one who got this, never regret, since we distributed it, we got not one, not one simple complaint! Nobody ask his money back. Shipping insured, and I'm firm believer, that a Guardian, an Angel watching it, escorting into your home or office...
